He said that the social media site would monitor and flag posts for malicious misinformation about the disease, including pages that are used to organize protests that defy social distancing guidelines. Also, they will continue focusing on the most effective ways to keep misinformation and hoaxes about COVID-19 off from the platform and ensure people have credible information from health experts. But, he did not say that Facebook will ban the accounts of lockdown protesters but it will remove misinformation about the pandemic from the platform.
