There are no credible sources to verify the number of people in the UK who contracted the coronavirus infection were from Pakistan. Some news articles claimed that around 60 percent of UK's coronavirus infections are due to air travel from Pakistan. They state that there were about 190 flights since March 1, 2020, that had arrived from Pakistan. It further stated that Public Health England(PHE) data from June 4 showed that 30 people with the coronavirus had entered the United Kingdom on flights from Pakistan, representing about half the total number of imported cases.

However, the data is not publicly available. There is no adequate evidence to prove that about 50 percent of the UK's coronavirus cases are of Pakistan origin.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
