The Department of Homeland Security webpage shows the Southwest border total apprehensions statistics for the last eight months from June-2019 to January-2020. In June 2019, the total apprehensions at the Southwest border were 104,311 compared to 36,679 in January-2020. This shows a decrease in total apprehensions made at the Southwest border from the past eight months.
