These speculations were made after the U.S. Navy banned TikTok recently from government-issued mobile devices. It added that army soldiers are not allowed to use TikTok on government mobiles due to probable cybersecurity threats.

TikTok parent company Byte Dance has not made any official statements on the rumours about the app’s closure. Hence, it is proved that the app is not going to be shut down.
