A 12-year-old boy selling fruits in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh was thrashed by the cops.

Senior Superintendent of Police of Bareilly confirmed the incident and stated that the boy sustained a minor injury on his hand.On 16 May, a 12-year-old boy, a vegetable seller's son from Baradari area of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh was thrashed by the cops when he was selling the fruits on a cart. Two cops came to the spot when the boy was attending the customers and was brutally abused. In the video, the boy was crying with pain and showed his swollen hands. Shailesh Pandey, Bareilly SSP said that the incident seems to be an accident as the police were trying to prevent people from breaking social distancing norms.
