Youtube has followed Facebook in its decision to censor livestream content.

Youtube has followed Facebook in taking down false Covid-19 livestream video and disinformation campaigns.

Youtube has followed Facebook in taking down false Covid-19 livestream video and disinformation campaigns. In August, Facebook removed a press conference video in D.C. held by the group America's Frontline Doctors and sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots. The conference primarily promoted disinformation on COVID-19 to oppose top medical experts' guidelines on issues such as masks and a cover-19 vaccine. The video was posted on Breitbart News and received more than 17 million views on various platforms such as Youtube and Twitter. Facebook banned the content due to its disinformation and false propaganda on Covid-19.

Other platforms such as Youtube and Twitter soon followed Facebook in banning the video, while Twitter also banned President Trump's tweets that promoted the information from the conference video.

Therefore, it is true that Youtube has banned this particular video and continues to follow Facebook in banning other forms of Covid-19 disinformation after this event.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
