It works just like any other vending machine where users need to insert money and select the item of their choice.

The machine has a variety of masks ranging from one-time use to N95 masks. There are hand sanitisers ranging from Rs 50-100 and free size gloves for all.

A similar machine has been installed at the Chandigarh Railway Station as well and the railways are reportedly planning to install such vending machines at several other railway stations.
