Statement by the United States Department of Agriculture confirms that a Tiger in New York zoo was tested positive for COVID-19.National Veterinary Services Laboratories has reported that one of the tigers at a New York City Zoo has tested positive for COVID-19 after several wild cats in the zoo showed symptoms of respiratory illness. It said that the health officials suspected the tiger got sick after being exposed to a zoo employee who had COVID-19. This was the first case of a tiger being infected with the coronavirus.
