The Karnataka government is implementing restrictions in areas with a large population that has reported a higher number of coronavirus cases. Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa ordered a strict lockdown in some parts of the city like KR Market, Kalasipalya, Chickpete, and Avenue Road, and the adjoining areas have been sealed. However, the decision to impose lockdown in the entire city of Bangalore has not been taken yet.
