Indian Tourism Ministry is planning to introduce COVID-19 insurance policy for foreign tourists visiting India.
The plan is to restart foreign tourism to the country while keeping it safe in 2021. The Ministry aims to seek cooperation between Indian and international insurance companies to make sure that insurance policies would cover the COVID-19 treatment. The tourists will be connected to hospitals across the country.
