ABP C-Voter's February poll has predicted a majority victory for TMC in the upcoming Bengal elections.

ABP News C-Voter Opinion Poll predicted that Banerjee-led government would win the Assembly elections 2021 with 148-164 seats.

ABP News C-Voter Opinion Poll predicted that Banerjee-led government would win the Assembly elections 2021 with 148-164 seats. On February 27, 2021, the ABP C-Voter Opinion poll was conducted to assess which party could come to power in all five states. The poll shows that Trinamool Congress (TMC) would retain their government for the third consecutive year in West Bengal. Out of 294 seats, Mamata Banerjee's party TMC would secure 148-164 seats in the upcoming assembly elections 2021. ABP also reports that Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) would give a close competition to TMC by winning 92-108 seats in Bengal. In the previous Assembly Election, it had won only three seats in the state. Congress and its alliance might secure 31-39 seats.

The Election Commission of India announced that West Bengal's elections would take place in eight phases, the country's longest polling. The state would start its elections on March 27, and the results will be announced on May 2.

However it is important to bear in mind that Opinion polls are not very reliable and they are rarely accurate. Errors in poll predictions arise due to several reasons including, faulty methodology, lack of a robust poll infrastructure, and as the number of parties increase, it becomes increasingly difficult to predict the outcome.
