The report published by the World Health Organisation regarding the basic principles to reduce coronavirus infection refutes the claim.A post has been shared in social media claiming that people to avoid consuming ice creams, milkshakes, cold drinks, and milk sweets to prevent the novel Coronavirus.

The World Health Organisation has mentioned the basic preventive measures to reduce the general risk of transmission of acute Coronavirus infections. But they have not mentioned about avoiding the cold drinks and ice creams anywhere. (Ref page number. 4).

Hence, it is concluded that there is no scientific evidence suggesting a link between these food items and the novel Coronavirus.
