India has done COVID-19 tests for around 380,000 people which comes up to about 290 tests per million people, while the United Arab Emirates has tested 790,000 odd people which averages at 79,000 tests per million people.

The United Arab Emirates' National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority had said in its 15 April 2020 update that it had conducted over 767,000 COVID-19 tests among the citizens and residents. In an update made on 20 April, UAE health sector spokesperson Dr Farida Al Hosani said that 25,795 additional tests were conducted across various emirates, which in total equates to 79,875 tests per million people as per Worldometers
