Dubai Airport runway decorated with Christmas tree.

The runway image is an artistic visualization produced for Shannon Airport as part of a Shannon Airport Christmas campaign.

The runway image is an artistic visualization produced for Shannon Airport as part of a Shannon Airport Christmas campaign.A picture had gone viral on social media showing a long path lit up with lights to resemble a Christmas tree. The imaged claimed it's the Dubai airport runway. Shannon Airport, through a tweet, posted the same picture on Dec. 15, 2020. The photo is an artistic visualization created as part of a Christmas festive campaign for Ireland's Shannon Airport.

The airport redesigned Ireland's longest runway. The runway has been reimagined as a magical Christmas tree adorned with colorful Christmas lights and topped with a Christmas star. The Christmas campaign will be visible in the run-up to Christmas.

Hence, the caption with the picture which shows the artistic visualization of the Christmas Tree has nothing to do with Dubai airport.
