Pakistani ministers supported Rihanna on her tweet on the farmers' protests in India.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Hussain Chaudhry, and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Zulfi Bukhari, tweeted in support of Rihanna for voicing her opinion on the farmer's protest in India. Rihanna tweeted on February 2.2021, "Why aren't we talking about this?" and posted a CNN article.

Hussain Chaudhry tweeted that by supporting the farmers, she showed her respect towards the farmers around the world. Bukhari said, "well done and well said."

In September 2020, India's Parliament passed three new agricultural laws, and soon after, farmers started protesting against these bills.

Most of the farmers from Punjab and Haryana have camped on the borders of Delhi, protesting against the act.
