The residents had informed the local electricity department about the situation, but the department was indifferent towards the incident. Subsequently, the residents erected the electric pole upright and put it in the place of the broken pole due to the department's lack of action. But, no other news outlet, local or otherwise, covered this incident, and hence we cannot accurately verify the claim.
