Australian Prime Minister has stated that they won't welcome foreign tourists until next year.Australia is fighting to control the spread of coronavirus as the rate of vaccination is gradually picking up. It will slowly start to reopen its borders to fully vaccinated citizens and permanent residents. Prime Minister Scott Morrison stated that he would lift some of the travel restrictions in November that were imposed because of COVID-19. He said priority would be given to skilled migrants and international students, but international visitors will wait until next year.
Australia imposed the most rigid and most extended travel restrictions, which led to the lowest level of immigration since World War 2. Morrison did not specify the exact timeline when tourists can travel without any restrictions.
