There is no empirical evidence to prove that Arsenic Album 30 can be used as a palliative for Covid-19.The Ministry of AYUSH of India had released an advisory on 29 Jan 2020 which stated that the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) at the instance of Ministry of AYUSH discussed the ways and means of prevention of Coronavirus and suggested that Arsenicum album 30 could be taken as a prophylactic medicine against Coronavirus infection.

Further, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, in its report had stated that Arsenicum album-30 can be used as a preventive measure only for flu-like illness, which is a common prescription in cases of respiratory infections such as fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, and headache in day to day practice.

Also, Sripad Naik's claim that Arsenic Album 30 was a palliative for COVID-19 is not scientifically proven. There are no studies within the evidence-based framework that suggests the use of Arsenicum album 30 for coronavirus infection.
