There is also an ultra-battery saver that enables one to extend the phone’s standby time and reduce power consumption. Xiaomi claims that with this feature, a phone at 5% can last for an additional 5 hours. They are currently rolling out the updates and public review is required to validate the claim.

The MIUI has gone through numerous crucial updates. Mi Fans have appreciated India-specific features such as Panchang, Copy OTP, Smart IRCTC SMS, MIUI SMS Caller ID.
