The Gross domestic product (GDP) data released by The World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) refute the claim.President Donald Trump during a briefing in the White House claimed that China net worth has gone down probably by $20 trillion since his election. As per The World Bank report, China's overall economy was $11.138 trillion in 2016 when Donald Trump got elected as the President of the United States. China's GDP data available on the IMF website shows that the entire size of the Chinese economy is $15.27 trillion as of October 2019. The above figures do not fall in line with the US president's claim as the Chinese economy has shown growth during the period of 2016 to date.
