The Possible Origins of the 2019-nCoV, a research paper by Chinese scientists states that COVID-19 originated from a Wuhan bio lab.

The research paper by Chinese scientists titled 'The Possible Origins of the 2019-nCoV' reports that first COVID 19 case was from the Wuhan bio lab.

The research paper by Chinese scientists titled 'The Possible Origins of the 2019-nCoV' reports that first COVID 19 case was from the Wuhan bio lab.Two Chinese scientists, Botao Xiao and Lei Xiao, who worked for the state-run South China University of Technology, in their paper, titled 'The Possible Origins of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus', stated that genetic analysis has revealed that the COVID-19 is from the same family of coronaviruses carried by the horseshoe bat and these species were not to be found within 900 kilometres of Wuhan and also 59 people who were interviewed with connections to Wuhan confirmed that there were no horseshoe bats being sold in that area.

The Chinese researchers also found that within 280 meters from the market, there was the Wuhan Center for Disease Control & Prevention (WHCDC). The WHCDC hosted animals in laboratories for research purposes, one of which was specialised in pathogens collection and identification. They also noted that about 7 miles away was the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), which was also conducting research on the same bat. As a result, the first case of a human infected might be a bio-lab worker from the Wuhan Center for Disease Control & Prevention who accidentally exposed himself to blood or urine from a bat.

Life Site News April 2, 2020, reported that paper, titled 'The Possible Origins of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus' published in February, was removed from the international scholarly database Research Gate, but is now available through the Wayback Machine.

However, no other official researches have validated the finding revealed by this research paper.
