The Press Information Bureau has refuted the claim that medicines were to be sprayed from the sky to control COVID-19 from spreading.Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 14-hour Janta Curfew on 19 March 2020 to contain coronavirus outbreak. The Press Information Bureau had issued a clarification on 17 March 2020 that misinformation regarding spraying medicines to control COVID-19 through aeroplanes had been circulated on social media. It added that there was no such action planned by the Indian Government. The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation.
