Alexander was seen at the pro-Trump gathering in Washington, D.C, but there's no evidence that he was part of the mob that stormed the Capitol. On Jan. 6, 2020, thousands of protesters at a rally in the Ellipse, a park located South of the White House, cheered President Donald Trump as he spoke about his baseless claims of election fraud ahead of Congress' vote to affirm President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

Jason Allen Alexander, who was married to Britney Spears in 2004 for 55 hours, was among the supporters protesting in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6. Alexander posted a selfie on Facebook, showing that he attended the protest in support of President Trump in Washington, D.C., which descended into a riot as attendees stormed the Capitol. In the selfie, Alexander is wearing a red Trump hat with a '45' on it, standing on the street as a Trump 2020 flag flies behind him. 'D.C. Millions showed up,' he wrote as a caption for the selfie. However, it is unclear whether Alexander was a part of the event, and there is no indication that he was.
