Ayurvedic remedy for COVID-19, Immunofree shows groundbreaking results.

There is insufficient evidence to prove Immunofree showing better results in the treatment of COVID-19.

There is insufficient evidence to prove Immunofree showing better results in the treatment of COVID-19.Combinational treatment of an Ayurvedic remedy called "Immunofree" by Corival Life Sciences and a Nutraceutical called "Reginmune" by Biogetica have been reportedly administered to over 85% COVID-19 patients during a clinical trial. The ayurvedic remedy also included inflammation markers like C-reactive protein. Other tests, including RT-PCR, Procalcitonin, and D Dimer, showed further improvement (at least 20-60 percent) compared to the conventional allopathic medicines for the treatment of the COVID-19 patients. The trial, approved by The Clinical Trials Registry- India (CTRI), is being conducted on moderate COVID-19 positive patients at Government Medical Hospital, Srikakulam Andhra Pradesh, Parul Sevashram Hospital, Vadodara, Gujarat, and Lokmanya Hospital Pune, Maharashtra. It showed better results than the regular medicines approved by the government for coronavirus treatment.

However, effectiveness of the medicine has not been confirmed either by the Health Ministry or by any other official source. Thus, the claim cannot be objectively verified.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
