Times of India reports that two security personnel guard Rekha's residence at all times and one of them has tested positive. The security personnel is undergoing treatment at a facility in Mumbai. An official notice has been posted outside her residence that declares it as a containment zone. The entire area has been sanitized.

An official statement from Rekha or her office is awaited in the matter. It is not clear if Rekha visited Leelavati hospital for her COVID-19 test.
