More than 130 officers assigned to protect President Donald Trump have been in quarantine due to COVID-19.On November 13, the New York Times and Washington Post reported that 130 officers in the uniformed secret service division had to self-isolate after either contracting COVID-19 or being in contact with someone who had contracted COVID-19. It is thought that 10 percent of the agency’s primary security team, who protect the White House and the president when travelling, has been sidelined. The outbreak is thought to be linked to President Donald Trump's rallies in the days leading up to the election.
