Joe Biden won the Presidency after media organisations called Pennsylvania in his favour. He defeated Trump by 43,194 votes, reported NYT. President-elect Joe Biden claimed victory after he flipped Pennsylvania, bagging all the 20 electoral college votes beating incumbent President Donald Trump in a nail-biting finish. Every successful Democratic presidential candidate has won Pennsylvania since 1960. Trump had won the state in 2016 against his rival Hillary Clinton. Biden won after three days of uncertainty as delay occurred due to the processing of mail-in ballots. Biden was able to cross the 270 Electoral College votes needed to take the White House after winning the key states of Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The surge in mail-in votes helped Biden take a huge lead in Pennsylvania as Trump accused of large-scale rigging echoed by his supporters. The Trump campaign has filed several legal challenges that remain pending in the state.
