Alibaba's shopping platforms exceeded the previous year's 213.5 billion yuan record (nearly $30.5 billion) in 2019.

The Indian e-commerce market is expected to grow to US$ 200 billion by 2026 from US$ 38.5 billion by 2017. The growth for the industry has been an increase in internet and smartphone invasion.
