Brazilian govt thanked India for supplying COVID-19 vaccine with a message that has an image of Lord Hanuman

Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro thanked India via Twitter for supplying Covishield vaccine. An image of Lord Hanuman is attached to the tweet.On January 22, 2021, India sent 2 million doses of the Covishield vaccine to Brazil and Morocco. The vaccine to Brazil was sent via Emirates Sky cargo from Mumbai airport.

On receiving the cargo, Brazilian President Bolsonaro expressed gratitude towards India and Prime minister Narendra Modi in a tweet. Bolsonaro said, “Namaskar, Prime Minister @narendramodi. Brazil is honoured to have a great partner to overcome a global obstacle. Thank you for helping us with vaccine exports from India to Brazil. Dhanyavaad!” An image of Lord Hanuman was attached to the tweet. The image shows Lord Hanuman carrying a mountain of coronavirus vaccine to Brazil.

PM Modi replied to the tweet by saying, "The honour is ours, President@jairbolsonaro to be a trusted partner of Brazil in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic together. We will continue to strengthen our cooperation on healthcare."
