The Income Tax Department seized VK Sasikala's assets worth about ₹2,000 crores.On October 7, 2020, the Income Tax Department froze the assets of VK Sasikala under the Benami Prohibition Act. According to the reports, the frozen assets include two properties worth ₹300 crores. These properties were located in Siruthavur and Kodanadu and were in the name of Sasikala, Ilavarasi, and Sudhakaran. The Benami Prohibition wing under the I-T department has posted the notices outside the properties, seized by the income tax department.
