The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre has been converted into a COVID-19 care center with over 10,000 beds.It is the country’s biggest COVID-19 care center situated on Tumakuru Road, with all necessary amenities, including 100 beds for ICU patients. Karnataka Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa said that as the number of cases increased in Bengaluru, the state government was making all attempts to control the disease, and arrangements are being made to treat the infected people. The center is expected to start functioning by August 2020.
