Raeesah Khan apologized for her comments made on social media about alleged discrimination over the past two years.On February 2, 2018, Workers' Party candidate Raeesah Khan allegedly said that Singapore jailed the minorities mercilessly, harassed mosque leaders, and let corrupt church leaders walk free, questioning the police's integrity. Similarly, on May 17, 2019, she had said that the country's law enforcement authorities had discriminated against citizens. She had added that compared with other groups, wealthy Chinese and white people were treated differently under the law.

In the press conference held on June 5, 2020, she apologized for her remarks, after the police announced an investigation into her social media.
