RBI has issued a license to Bank of China to operate in India.

The India branch works on the international network of Bank of China across the globe, with a world-class banking, professional strengths and the diversified platform of the Bank across various sectors. It also mentioned that they had been issued the license on 6 December 2017, and on 4 October 2018, to commence operations with effect from 1 December 2018 and 1 March 2019 in India.
