The Ministry of Home Affairs has not released any press release which states imposing lockdown again from 15 June 2020 across India. On May 30, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order that India would lift the lockdown in a phased manner in areas outside the containment zone from June 8. The order further said there will be stringent enforcement of lockdown in the containment zones. However, the order did not mention imposing the lockdown again across India.

A viral message circulated on social media shows that this claim is attributed to the Zee News channel. In response, Zee News said that the claim is false, the image is photoshopped, and the news was being spread to tarnish the image of the news channel.
