The federal government of Pakistan has not made any donations during the pandemic. Its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is estimated to have contracted to 0.4 percent in 2020. On Mar. 24, 2020, the federal government had announced a relief package worth PKR 1.2 trillion. The State Bank of Pakistan had introduced regulatory measures to facilitate the import of COVID-19-related medical equipment and medicine.

International financial institutions like the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Asian Development Bank( ADB), and the New Development Bank had provided support to South Asian countries amid COVID-19. However, there is no mention of donations from Pakistan to the world during the pandemic.
