BMC had given notice to Kangana Ranaut for illegal construction in her office two years ago

There is no credible information claiming that BMC had issued notice to Kangana Ranaut two years ago in 2018.

There is no credible information claiming that BMC had issued notice to Kangana Ranaut two years ago in 2018.It is reported that, in 2018, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) had issued a demolition notice to the actor Kangana Ranaut under the Maharashtra Regional Town Planning (MRTP) Act for unauthorized construction.

But, Kangana Ranaut has denied the report that BMC had issued a notice in 2018 and also told that it has never sent any notice to her until September 8, 2020. She had also stated that the court copy is related to a completely different property, the apartment located in Khar, not the Bandra residence. She further informed that the BMC had issued notice to the entire building and not just her flat. The actor claimed that she had got all the documents cleared from BMC for the renovation of her office.

While verifying we found a court document dated October 20, 2018, related to the Kangana Ranaut's property dispute, to access the court document on the official website of the district court, choose the court establishment button and select Dindoshi civil court from the drop-down, add the case number '202971' and year 2018, type captcha, click on order on the below-opened document. The document shows that this case was disposed off and the MCGM/BMC had not contested the case.

However, the document claimed by the media sources does not clearly states to which property the BMC had issued notice to Kangana Ranaut in 2018 whether to the property belonging to Kangana Ranaut located in Bandra or Khar, as the ongoing issue is related to Kangana’s Bandra property.
