Indian Military rescuing a child after an encounter in Sopore was staged.

There is insufficient evidence to prove that the child rescue by the Indian reserve police (CRPF) was staged.

There is insufficient evidence to prove that the child rescue by the Indian reserve police (CRPF) was staged. Rajesh Kumar, Inspector General of the CRPF, explained to the media how the situation unfolded when terrorists attacked the CRPF men in Sopore town of Baramulla district. He told that a three-year-old boy survived as his grandfather was killed during the crossfire. The Jammu and Kashmir Police rescued the boy from getting hit by bullets. However, the family members of the victim alleged that he was dragged out of the vehicle and shot dead by the security forces, which was refuted by the police. However, we do not have evidence to show that the picture of the troops carrying the boy away was staged.
