Trump suspended all travel from China before the US reached five reported cases of coronavirus.

The United States did not suspend all travel from China. On February 2, the U.S. enacted travel restrictions. As of January 31, 2020, a total of six positive cases had been reported in the US. Moreover, after the restrictions were implemented, the travel between the U.S. and China continued. About 40,000 people have arrived in the United States from China in the two months after President Trump imposed such travel restrictions.
