
The Aviation Ministry of India has approved domestic airlines to operate with full capacity from next week.
In line with the growing passenger confidence and demand, the Indian aviation ministry has granted permission to domestic airlines to operate with 100 percent capacity. The ministry's decision comes against the backdrop of the upcoming tourist and festive season. However, restrictions on international operations will continue to remain further till October 31. The domestic passenger traffic on a month-on-month basis has seen a steady rise. The average occupancy rate has reached 70 percent for most airlines.
