The news articles published by Daily News and Analysis (DNA India) and Patrika News refutes the claim.A Facebook post by Friends of BJP on 13 January 2020 shows that a video was uploaded with the caption called 'Hindu women are being openly victimised in Pakistan.'

According to the DNA India news article, the video was captured in Rajasthan where the two men can be seen beating up a girl's mother and forcibly taking away a minor girl on a tractor. This incident had taken place in Kalu Khan Ki Dhani village of Bap Tehsil in Jodhpur district on 11 September 2017.

The Patrika News article on 24 September 2017, states that two men have abducted a minor girl and have beaten up her mother. This old video of 2017 is resurfaced on social media and is circulated with a misleading claim that Hindu women are being openly victimised in Pakistan.
