The HRD Minister has hinted that schools may reopen in the month of August.In an interview on 3 June, Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the government will try to declare all the pending results and might reopen the schools after August. However, he said that nothing has been finalized on the subject of reopening. He revealed that schools and colleges would be reopened after August 2020, possibly even after August 15, 2020.
