Scientists in Israel are likely to announce that they have developed a vaccine for coronavirus.

There are no official statements released by the Israeli government regarding development in the research towards developing COVID- 19 vaccine.

The Haaretz article has cited unidentified medical sources and reported that the scientists at the Israel Institute for Biological Research are making a significant breakthrough in understanding the virus, but further tests would be carried out for months. In contrast, the article has cited an exclusive statement of the Defence Ministry which reveals that there is no swift development in the research and that if there is any improvement in finding the vaccine, it would be announced officially by the government.

According to the International Business Times, Dr Peter Hotez, co-director of the United States Centre for Vaccine Development at Texas Children's Hospital said that finding a vaccine for novel coronavirus would take time, but some of the biotech industries are falsely claiming that it would come in a week.

There are no confirmed official statements by Israeli officials and medical experts' opinion about coronavirus vaccination, confirms that no vaccine is developed for coronavirus.
