Dawood Ibrahim has succumbed to COVID-19.

Media reports citing unnamed intelligence agencies stated that Dawood Ibrahim has succumbed to COVID-19 and that his wife has also tested positive. They also claimed that they had been admitted to the army hospital in Karachi.

Dawood's brother Anees spoke to IANS from an undisclosed location and clarified that his brother and the entire family were safe at their home.
