The platform ticket in the Pune railway station is ₹50.

The Pune division of the Central Railway Zone has hiked the platform ticket charges to ₹50 to prevent overcrowding and maintain social distancing.

On August 18, 2020, the Indian Railways spokesperson clarified that the platform ticket rates were increased from ₹10 to ₹50 at the Pune junction to prevent unnecessary visits to the station, in light of social distancing protocols imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
