A clarification tweet posted by the Ministry of Health confirms that Office memorandum doing rounds on social media is fake.

A Memo claiming mandatory holidays in the states of Maharashtra, Sikkim, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh due to the COVID-19 outbreak had gone viral in social media.

The above mentioned O.M is not true and it has not been issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
