U.S. Congress has the power to change the course and stop a war with Iran.

The 115th Congress (2017-18) second session bill provided by the United States Congress confirms the claim.

According to the bill passed in the Senate of the United States, under Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution of the United States, Congress has the sole power to declare the war against Iran and also states the limitations for the use of funds for military operations in or against Iran, that is, no funds may be used for military operations in or against Iran without Congressional authorization.
