CNN anchor Chris Cuomo has not been infected with the coronavirus.

A tweet by Chris Cuomo and a statement by his brother Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York, confirm that Chris was diagnosed with the coronavirus.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo tweeted a video from his official handle stating that he tested positive for the coronavirus and had some symptoms. He said that he had been in contact with people in the previous few days who had eventually tested positive. He added that he had been self-isolating at home and would continue his show 'Cuomo Prime Time' from home.

His brother and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo also stated that Chris was diagnosed with the coronavirus in his daily state briefing on 31 March 2020.
