Mukesh Khanna confirmed that he is alive and well in response to fake news of the actor's death.

Mukesh Khanna, the Indian actor famous for the role of Shaktimaan, took to Instagram to rectify rumors surrounding his death. Khanna clarified that he was not suffering from COVID-19. Khanna said he was angered by the fake news, which he said had "tampered with people's emotions." On May 13, the actor lost his sister, Komal Kapoor, to COVID-19. Khanna paid tribute to his sister on social media, expressing his grief over the loss. India has lost almost 300,000 people in the first and second waves of the COVID-19 pandemic.
