Tripura has reduced the number of holidays for Hindus' famous Durga Puja.

Tripura government has not issued any notification regarding the cancelation of holidays for Durga Puja.

The famous Durga Puja is just 6 days away, and the Tripura government has issued guidelines to celebrate the festival. The measure includes restrictions on gatherings in the pandals and compulsory COVID tests for all the personnel. The state had declared holidays from October 23, 2020, to October 26, 2020, on the festival's account. Other measures are in place, but the government has not reduced the number of holidays. It has allowed the community to participate actively in the festivities with proper safety measures in place.
