According to the Guinness World Records, Amsterdam Stock Exchange is the oldest stock exchange in the world. Located in the Netherlands, it was founded in 1602 with dealings in printed shares of the United East India Company of the Netherlands in the Oude Zijds Kapel. Amsterdam Stock Exchange is now known as Euronext Amsterdam after it merged with the Brussels Stock Exchange and the Paris Stock Exchange to form Euronext.
